We are recruiting for a Head of Enterprise and Innovation in Joint Research and Enterprise Services (JRES). The role of JRES is to support, manage and facilitate research and enterprise across St George’s University and St George’s NHS Trust, and the Enterprise & Innovation Team is one of three teams in JRES.

The postholder will lead enterprise and innovation at St George’s and will be responsible for providing an excellent service to our researchers and partners, seeking and maximising commercial opportunities. This is a broad and senior role, which includes responsibility for intellectual property protection, marketing and licencing, consultancy, knowledge transfer partnerships, research contracts, education licensing and student enterprise.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who has experience of university enterprise and innovation, and who has commercial acumen with a track record of successful negotiation, along with highly effective leadership and management skills, excellent communication skills and a good understanding of sector issues.
