This is an exciting time for nurse education in Liverpool John Moores University, with an unparalleled expansion in student numbers, significant investment in resources and a growing reputation for innovation and excellence. As a result, the University is looking for talented, passionate and visionary individuals to join its rapidly growing nurse education team. This team was the proud winner of the 2018 Nursing Times Nurse Education Provider of the Year (pre-registration) and offers outstanding nurse education from undergraduate to Doctoral level.

The School of Nursing and Allied Health is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated Clinical Skills Tutor who will help shape its future direction. You will be required to contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of clinical skills teaching to our undergraduate and postgraduate health care programmes. The School of Nursing and Allied Health is due to open a newly refurbished clinical practice simulation building and the intention is to make full use of clinical skills teaching in all its health care delivery. Candidates will need to have the confidence and competence to teach a range of clinical skills and support simulation.

You will be educated to degree level and have experience in clinical practice.  You will demonstrate the current clinical knowledge, experience and assessment skills required to support the development of students.  Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or Health Care Professions Council is desirable.
