The role will report to the Dean of the Faculty of Creative Industries and will be accountable for the success of the South Wales Business School.

Founded by industry and the professions, the University of South Wales, with around 25,000 students is one of Britain’s most exciting new universities and a major player in higher education. One of the top ten campus universities in the UK by student number, it attracts a cosmopolitan mix of students from over 120 countries and all backgrounds.

 The Director of South Wales Business School will be responsible for driving growth and reputational progress for a school that is central to the ambitions of the University of South Wales. Collaboratively with the Dean, the postholder will provide strategic direction for the Business School, focusing on innovation and engagement; nurturing talent wherever possible.

The position is based at Treforest Campus of the University of South Wales with travel around all campuses where required. Currently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic many colleagues are working from home. The university is planning and working towards a safe return to our campuses and for a blended, flexible approach to working and learning for the foreseeable future.
