We are seeking an outstanding professional individual to join the International Centre for Transformational Entrepreneurship (ICTE) at Coventry University.  ICTE is an innovative and ground-breaking entrepreneurship centre within the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL), and needs a dynamic person to assist the Executive Director of ICTE to expand ICTE’s activities locally, nationally and internationally. ICTE’s focus on transformational entrepreneurship blends a wide range of services and products that encompass education, research and support to assist students, staff and businesses to be more entrepreneurial across the CU Group. Research activities include ICTE’s doctoral programme, research (academic and applied), consulting activities and publication of research.

The individual will lead the development of research within ICTE. Core requirements include that the candidate should: possess a PhD in a subject relevant to the discipline of Entrepreneurship; the candidate will be able to evidence quality research published in 3 and 4 star publications in peer-reviewed ABS journals; have supervised 3 or more completions at doctoral level, and have managed research projects to successful completion. In addition, the candidate is expected to develop relationships and partnerships externally/internationally to foster collaboration and generate income. Therefore the person must have a flexible approach to work, being willing and able to travel nationally and internationally. The candidate should be self-motivated, an effective communicator and able to work as an individual and as a member of a team.  Although this is primarily a research-focused role, the candidate will also be involved in teaching and in the supervision of students at postgraduate level.
