Postdoctoral Molecular Biologist

Department : Cardiovascular Sciences

We have a position available for a talented and enthusiastic postdoctoral molecular biologist to work on a Fondation Leducq Network of Excellence programme on the redox regulation of cardiomyocyte renewal. Candidates must have strong experience and training in a wide range of molecular biology techniques such as cloning, site-directed mutagenesis, RNAseq, ATACseq, CHIPseq, and bioinformatic analyses. Some previous cardiovascular experience would be helpful but is not essential.

The postholder will be part of a multi-disciplinary research grouping working on several different aspects of cardiovascular pathophysiology, with access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities within the King's BHF Centre of Research Excellence. It is essential that you are a team worker with excellent inter-personal skills.
