The opportunity

The Griffith University Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme is an exciting initiative offering up to twelve full-time, two year fixed-term research positions to high calibre early-career researchers. Successful applicants will be based at one of the University's research centres and will contribute to key areas of strength in national and international research.

Up to twelve fellowships may be awarded including one fellowship designated for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Researcher.

Salary range

Research Fellow, Grade 1.4 - 1.5: $85,181 - $88,311 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $99,663 - $103,324 per annum.

Postdoctoral fellows (up to 3 years post-Research Doctorate) are appointed at RF1 levels. In addition, each year the scheme will provide $10,000 for research project costs and $5,000 for collaboration, travel and conference support.
