The Centre for Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine is located in Guy’s Hospital and brings together the cutting-edge stem cell research currently taking place across the College and its partner NHS trusts, as part of King’s Health Partners. Through the Centre, King’s aims to drive collaboration between scientists and clinicians to translate the potential of stem cells into clinical reality for patients. The Centre Director, Fiona Watt, is theme lead for Regenerative Medicine and Cellular Therapy in the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust Biomedical Research Centre.
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral researcher funded by the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London. The post holder will contribute to the regenerative medicine theme, and will have access to single cell RNA seq data from over 500,000 cells from healthy, eczema and psoriasis human skin samples. The postholder will identify and validate candidate disease bio-markers.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2022.
This is a full-time post.
