The Office of Pro-Vice Chancellor Equity and Indigenous is responsible for leading equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives for Edith Cowan University.

The Role

Reporting to the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Equity and Indigenous), this role will work to implement ideas, initiatives and events that will work to ensure Edith Cowan University is recognised as a leader in student and staff equity and inclusion. This role will foster relationships with stakeholders across Edith Cowan University to assist with building a more inclusive University environment by implementing key institutional equity strategies.

Key Criteria

  • Proven successful experience in leading projects
  • Experience of working in a similar role specialising in equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives. 
  • Experience in being able to build rapport and form positive working relationships with all internal stakeholders as well as external stakeholders/communities
  • Relevant experience in the education sector is highly desirable.

Benefits & Remuneration

Both fixed-term positions attract an annual remuneration package of $81,357 to $87,776 (Hew 6) pa (pro-rata for part-time appointment) plus superannuation.
