Brief Description

To provide high quality research support and undertake internationally competitive research aimed at publication thereby contributing to the academic and research mission of the University. 
Ability to present research plans and findings in a convincing style, both in oral and written modes of communication.

Detailed Description

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Project support with day to day experiments  on synthesis of bio-adsorbents 

Operational Responsibilities

  • Conducting chemical synthesis experiments with polymers/biopolymers 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • MSc Degree/PhD:  in   Chemical Engineering (polymer); applied chemistry (polymers)  

Required Experience

  • Experimental skills in Chemical synthesis of polymeric adsorbents, phase inversion, molecular imprinting, analytical chemistry etc.
