Senior Sales Executive - Europe
Department:    Times Higher Education – Hiring Solutions
Location:    Red Lion Square, Holborn, London
Reporting to:    Strategic Solutions Director

The Team

The Hiring Solutions team curates and implements recruitment advertising strategies for universities looking to attract and recruit the finest academic, professional and leadership talent from around the world. With salespeople based in London, Singapore and Melbourne, you will be joining a team who work on hundreds of accounts with distinct and varied challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships from the ground up; find, engage and nurture your own client base of European universities.
  • Manage pre-existing and new client accounts; understand their needs and challenges in recruiting academic and professional staff.
  • Create innovative advertising solutions that meet your clients’ needs.
  • In collaboration with the production, design and engagement team, deliver high quality campaigns that result in high quality hires.


  • An ability and passion to travel frequently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
  • Good prioritization, project management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • You are a team player, committed to both hard work and fun
  • European foreign language skills would be a bonus!
  • An understanding of the higher education landscape is beneficial
  • 1+ year of work experience in a client-facing role such as sales, business development or client success is desirable, but we will consider experience from other walks of life.
  • University degree in any field welcome to apply
