Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University announces an open competition for the position Assistant (part time - 20 hours per week)
Requirements
- MA. in the Study of Religions or in a similar subject in humanities or social sciences (Sociology, History, Anthropology etc.)
- specialization on historically oriented study of religions, especially on ancient Christianity
- teaching practice at university (at least one course as a main lecturer)
- ability to teach in the Czech language; proved by a certificate (at least C1 level) in the case of non-native speakers.
- active knowledge of English
Work content:
- teaching of courses and seminars of the BA curriculum in the Study of Religion (Christianity I, Religion and historical and comparative perspective, etc.)
- supervision of BA and MA theses
- other pedagogical, administrative and research duties according to actual needs of the Department for the Study of Religions
