Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University announces an open competition for the position Assistant (part time - 20 hours per week)

Requirements

• MA. in the Study of Religions or in a similar subject in humanities or social sciences (Sociology, History, Anthropology etc.)
• specialization on historically oriented study of religions, especially on ancient Christianity
• teaching practice at university (at least one course as a main lecturer)
• ability to teach in the Czech language; proved by a certificate (at least C1 level) in the case of non-native speakers.
• active knowledge of English

Work content:

• teaching of courses and seminars of the BA curriculum in the Study of Religion (Christianity I, Religion and historical and comparative perspective, etc.)
• supervision of BA and MA theses
• other pedagogical, administrative and research duties according to actual needs of the Department for the Study of Religions
