Role Description

We welcome applications from suitably qualified applicants experienced in fluid systems testing, high temperature mechanical testing, hazardous substance handling and safe disposal from within a laboratory environment.

This position is fully responsible for the full test rig assembly, maintenance, safe working and standard operating procedures necessary to fulfil this specialist capability in thermal performance testing including environment chamber & other mechanical testing, alongside established capabilities in fluid transport and thermal management. We are interested in hearing from applicants with a track record in technical organisation, development and delivery of associated operational test plans to meet customer specifications and thereby produce high quality test data within complex operational environments to assist business decision making e.g. aero engine components. The applicant will be required to be ‘hands on’ with the design and build of test rigs, as well as for general maintenance and operation of the facility.
