Department of Mathematics

Lecturer (PR0280/19-20)

The Department invites applications for the Lecturer rank specializing in mathematics, statistics, or an area which complements the Department’s teaching profile.

Applicants should possess a relevant PhD degree with teaching experience preferred. They are expected to be energetic and motivated, and to actively participate in current teaching programmes of the Department. Those with substantial teaching experience and good record of administrative achievements may be considered for appointment at the rank of Senior Lecturer.

Initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract up to two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
