• Salary Package: Research Associate (Level A), from $93,830 to $100,559 p.a., plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading

We are looking for a passionate researcher with an excellent track record of research in the discipline of high efficiency perovskite photovoltaics or LEDs. The successful applicant will be required to perform independent research and collaborate with our world-class research team to develop exciting new research in the area of perovskite opto-electronic devices. There will be opportunities for supervision of postgraduate and undergraduate students as well.

Selection Criteria

To be considered for this position applications must respond to the selection criteria below and attach as a separate document in the application process with your curriculum vitae.

Essential

• A PhD in opto-electronics (photovoltaics or LEDs) or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in developing high efficiency perovskite solar cells or LEDs
• Demonstrated track record of research with international standing
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Competent knowledge of the field of material sciences, opto-electronics and chemistry
• Commitment to teamwork and collaborative work, both domestically and internationally
• Commitment and ability to provide support to graduate and research students

Desirable

• Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training
• Ability to implement required health and safety policies and procedures
• Commitment and ability to manage research facility and labs
