The Faculty of Law (FLL) invites applications for the position of Professor in Law in the area of Global Legal Studies.

FLL of University of Macau is the oldest law school in Macao and plays a very important role in preparing jurists who are familiar with Macao S.A.R. legal system, as well as, educating jurists who are competent in legal research and practices in Macau law, international law and comparative law. FLL presently offers undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees to both local and international students. More details about the Faculty are available at https://fll.um.edu.mo/.  

Qualifications
Applications for the post of Professor must hold a PhD degree in Law. Applicants must have teaching experience in international environment and strong evidence of research experience in reputed institutions, which shall be substantiated by publication in refereed journals of national and international standing. 

The selected candidate is expected to assume duty in 2020.

Remuneration
A taxable annual remuneration starting from MOP1,210,300 (approximately USD149,420) will be commensurate with the successful applicants’ academic qualification and relevant professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate is 12% but is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions. Apart from competitive remuneration, UM offers a wide range of benefits, such as medical insurance, provident fund, on campus accommodation/housing allowance and other subsidies.
