Job Details

This role is available for an immediate start.  The post holder will provide comprehensive research support to an EU IMI funded project Aims2 Trials/Leap2.  This is to study ASD in large number subjects >800 from structural, functional and diffusion MRI data collected from multiple sites across Europe.

Working under the direction of Dr Flavio Dell Acqua the successful candidate will perform accurate tractography dissections of short and long range, interlobar and intralobar connections of the temporal lobe in ASD subjects.  They will use their advanced expertise in neuroanatomy to build on existing literature of atypical neural function of the temporal lobe connections.

The successful candidate will have a neuroscience degree with knowledge of neuroanatomy and connectional anatomy with an understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders.  They will be proficient in using TrackVis software for tractography dissections and have good use of statistics and research methods in scientific writing.

The selection process will include a panel interview.
