Position Summary:

The Associate Lecturer Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is expected to contribute to the delivery and coordination of programs in the area of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

They will be expected to teach and supervise students of the CBT postgraduate programs including Master’s degree students.

They will also be expected to contribute to the mental health research program for Flinders Human Behaviour and Health Research Unit (FHBHRU).

The incumbent will receive general to broad direction and will be involved in co-designing priorities and work plans consistent with the objectives of the unit. The incumbent is also expected to operate within a framework of established policies and work systems.

Please note: Pursuant to the Children’s Protection Act 1993 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed.  It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Child Related Employment Screening which is satisfactory to the University.

A National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required by Flinders University before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
