This post offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled qualitative researcher, to join the Bristol Medical School Musculoskeletal Research Unit as part of the newly awarded Versus Arthritis funded study: REducing unwarranted variation in the Delivery of high qUality hip fraCture services in England and Wales; the REDUCE study. Working within the multi-disciplinary study team, you will be expected to deliver high quality research towards improving patient outcomes after hip fracture.

The research involves organising and conducting one-to-one interviews with healthcare professionals at four hospitals in England and undertaking documentary analysis of existing reports in order to understand what hospital-level organisational factors are responsible for unwarranted variation in fracture care pathways and hence patient outcomes across the country. You should have a PhD in a discipline of relevance to qualitative research.  Please review the person specification on the job description before applying.
