Department of Digital and Data Driven Marketing

Southampton Business School has an ambitious quality driven strategy, which will see us strengthen our position as a world-class Business School in research, education and enterprise. As an AMBA and AACSB accredited Business School we are seeking to recruit a number of outstanding individuals for key research and teaching positions in a number of disciplines as outlined below to play a crucial role in the School achieving its vision which includes securing EQUIS accreditation within the next 12 months. Applications will be considered from candidates interested in part time hours of 0.6FTE and above.

The Business School is a strong part of the University with successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, a large PhD portfolio as well as an MBA and DBA.

The Digital and Data Driven Marketing Department at Southampton comprises 15 academics with teaching and research interests that include digital marketing, marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, brand management, luxury marketing, services marketing, entrepreneurship, and marketing analytics. Members of the department have published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Research, the International Journal of Research in Marketing, and the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. The department has a thriving undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio, which is built on the research strengths and focus of department staff.

We are looking for candidates with a passion for marketing and particularly welcome applications from candidates with an emerging or established profile in the areas of marketing analytics, digital marketing and marketing strategy to join our thriving community.

You will have a PhD (or equivalent degree/professional qualifications and experience) as well as a well-established academic reputation in your specialist discipline, demonstrated by a significant record of high quality published research (minimum ABS3*level or equivalent standing). Visible, engaged and collegiate you will have extensive experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and be passionate about developing and disseminating successful learning techniques, as well as a track record in securing research funding.
