Position Summary:

Working under broad direction and as a key member of the Student Learning Support Service, this position is responsible for coordinating the delivery of high quality, contemporary and evidence-based English Language support programs which enhance students’ ability to achieve success in their studies.

The incumbent will plan and coordinate delivery of programs including through recruitment and management of a team of casual staff, and will ensure the programs meet the English Language development needs of students and the needs of Colleges.

The incumbent will work collaboratively with staff within the Student Learning Support Service to ensure the SLSS’s programs cater to the diversity of the student population, proactively identify student learning needs, and are responsive to the needs of students in different locations including online, international students and students from Non-English Speaking Backgrounds.

Please note: Pursuant to the Children’s Protection Act 1993 (SA) this position has been deemed prescribed.  It is an inherent requirement of the position that the successful candidate maintains a current Child Related Employment Screening which is satisfactory to the University.
