We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Student Recruitment team based at our Sighthill campus. The Student Recruitment Officer role will assist with planning and managing the recruitment activity for the University's core markets.

Our UK Student Recruitment team has responsibility for raising awareness and interest in studying at Edinburgh Napier amongst both potential Undergraduate and Postgraduate students, and to raise aspirations of students to study at higher education level. This will be achieved by utilising a variety of techniques to provide a high standard of personalised student experience from first engagement and onwards throughout the student journey.
The Role
We are seeking to appoint a Student Recruitment Officer to assist with building our existing relationships with schools, colleges and other external partners; delivering and supporting workshops, and other activities to help raise aspirations; organise events; and work closely with colleagues from across the university.
To capitalise on our high level of applications and deliver a corporate approach to all student recruitment and conversion activity the role holder will work with a range of stakeholders:
- To combine the use of a range of media to facilitate communications
- To fully utilise online resources, including enquiry and applicant data using the university's CRM system
- To develop an account management approach to school and college liaison
- To develop social networking and other innovative recruitment tools
- To use other electronic and hard copy documentation.
Who We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have experience in communications, events management or recruitment together with a broad range of sales, marketing and analysing skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team is essential.
Furthermore, you will be a self-motivating, creative thinker with a lively, committed approach to work. You will be required to travel in the UK and work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends. You must hold a valid UK driving licence.
