Interview Date: Monday 24 February 2020

Full Time, Fixed-Term (12 Month Contract)

Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Researcher in the Information Security Group.

This is an exciting role as part of Lizzie Coles-Kemp’s EPSRC Fellowship: Everyday Safety-Security for Everyday Service – ESSfES1. The fellowship explores the design of essential digital services and examines how such services can be re-designed so that they better support both the security of people and the security of the digital technology delivering the service. The successful applicant will be joining the fellowship at an exciting time because the fellowship research to date has produced a creative engagements toolkit1 and now the focus is to design and run evaluations of the creative engagements toolkit with key stakeholder groups and follow the take-up of the toolkit in stakeholder organisations.

We are seeking candidates with a relevant PhD, that have knowledge of digital security and have experience of digital security in practice. Applicants with either a policy or human computer interaction background are strongly encouraged to apply.

In return we offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package including:

  • Generous annual leave entitlement
  • Training and Development opportunities
  • Pension Scheme with generous employer contribution
  • Various schemes including Cycle to Work, Season Ticket Loans and help with the cost of Eyesight testing.
  • Free parking

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
