Hartpury College of Further Education is an Ofsted Outstanding (2018) college, with an A level pass rate of 99.2%. We are the highest achieving land-based college in the UK (DfE 2017/18) and we are also rated Ofsted Outstanding (2019) for our residential provision.

You will be an outstanding Agricultural Lecturer who is a specialist in the area of Crop Production, Plant & Soil Science. You will be highly motivated, student focused and have strong interpersonal skills. You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching which will assist students to achieve excellent results within an exam based qualification. You will be able to inspire students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of agriculture, instilling in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding. You will also deliver BTEC£ units at level 2 & 3, as well as being a course tutor for a group of students.

You will hold or be required to work towards a teaching qualification. You will also be a strong team player, have excellent administration skills and demonstrate a willingness to engage with external partners and industry. Ideally you will possess an appropriate degree and be able to demonstrate a range of practical skills. Experience of delivering Agriculture within the Further Education sector is desirable.
