We are looking for an adaptable and organised Process Improvement Officer to join the Education Process Improvement and Records team, to enable and champion continuous improvement in education administration at the University of Bristol.
You will provide advice and support to other teams and be responsible for varied aspects of specific process improvement projects, including selecting review approaches, mapping current processes, identifying opportunities to reduce waste, and producing documentation to support improvements.
This opportunity would suit a self-motivated and effective individual who can plan and prioritise workloads successfully. Many of our projects focus on systems and processes related to student records, so experience working with SITS or a similar student records system, and an understanding of education administration are desirable. You should have a strong user focus and effective communication skills, with the ability to interpret information and present it clearly to a range of audiences.
You’ll join a small enthusiastic team, working closely with colleagues in Education Services and faculty and school administration offices.
If you have a passion for solving problems, reducing day-to-day frustrations and administrative burdens, and delivering real benefits to students, staff and the business, then we want to hear from you.
We welcome applications from internal candidates who would like to apply on the basis of a secondment from their current role at the University, and will consider flexible working arrangements.
We expect to shortlist shortly after the closing date. Interviews are expected to take place on either the 4th or 5th February.
If you have any questions about this opportunity, please contact Nicky.Jones@bristol.ac.uk
We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
