The diversity of our staff and students helps to make the University of Dundee one of the top universities in the UK. Family friendly policies, staff support networks for BME, disabled,  and LGBT staff, membership of Athena Swan and Stonewall, as well a full range of disability services, create an enjoyable and inclusive place to work.

This post is one of 10 Baxter Fellows funded by the University to strengthen the research environment in the University. It is named in honour of Mary Ann Baxter who started University College Dundee, the forerunner of the University of Dundee. Mary Ann Baxter insisted that the new college be open to men and women. Many female social reformers are alumni of UCD, and as such, it is particularly fitting that Community Education has a Baxter Fellow.
