Full/Assistant/Associate Professor-Novel optical sources

Description

The Applied Physics Program is currently seeking applications for a faculty position at all levels in novel optical sources. Expected areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, orbital angular momentum lasers, polariton lasers, single photon sources. The candidates are expected to have a strong experimental background that can benefit from KAUST’s state-of-the-art experimental facilities.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a proven track record, a relevant Ph.D. degree in Physics or related discipline, and the ability to establish a high-impact research program. They should also have demonstrable commitment to teaching at the graduate level.

  • Up-to-date curriculum vita which includes full publication list
  • Statement of research interests
  • Statement of teaching interests
  • A list of the names/affiliation and contact details of at least four potential referees
  • Copies of most relevant publications (Maximum of five)
  • Two citation reports (Web of Science and Scopus)
