 This is an exciting opportunity contribute to the BA (Hons) Textiles team at the Arts University Bournemouth.

 We are looking for a highly motivated person to work in our fast expanding and popular textiles programme.

You will be enthusiastic and well informed about contemporary textiles and able to teach all aspects of digital and traditional print across the 3 years of study. The post holder will also be flexible in their approach to textiles education as a whole and open to all approaches within the discipline.

You will be able to manage the demands of teaching at degree level and capable of devising briefs, leading and delivering inspiring workshops and actively involved in the assessment process.

A contemporary knowledge of textile print, both hand silk screen and digital teaching knowledge and ability, industry design practice knowledge and theoretical knowledge as well as experience of working within an HE environment is essential.

A Master’s Degree level qualification in a relevant subject is essential as is a Teaching Qualification and/or Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellow Membership.

This position seeks to appoint someone who can enhance the ethos of excellence both on the course and at the Arts University.
