With 12 full time academic staff, this Senior Lecturer/Reader in Accounting post is an important position within the Accounting Group in Queen's Management School. At a time of growth, the successful candidate has the potential to shape and strengthen the future direction of the Group from both a teaching and research perspective, including enhancing the opportunities for PhD study. Moreover, the supportive research environment enables attendance at national/international conferences and facilitates a sustained track record of published research.

The successful candidate must have: 

  • PhD completed in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Track record of research publications in peer reviewed Accounting journals of international standard that are REF returnable.
  • Demonstrate an ability to earn external research income.
  • Substantial teaching and assessment experience in the area of Accounting and related fields at University level, including design of new and innovative modules/pathways or assessment methods.
