Global health cancer palliative care, health in conflict in the Middle East
Cicely Saunders Institute, King’s College London
We are looking for a post-doctoral researcher to join us at the Cicely Saunders Institute on an ESRC-funded study. The project aims to improve capacity and evidence for better cancer palliative care in countries providing healthcare in the context of conflict.
Using both qualitative and quantitative methods, the post holder will be part of a team collaborating across academic and clinical centres of excellence in the UK and the Middle East. This Research Associate post is an exciting opportunity for an experienced researcher with good communication skills to conduct cutting-edge global health research that has potential to improve quality of care for patients and families facing advanced illness who may be displaced or refugees.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview, and a presentation.
