Lecturer in Accounting

£44,045 - £49,552 per annum
Full-time: 35 hours per week
The School of Business and Creative Industries is recruiting to new academic posts to support its strategic development over the next five years and to help further position the School as a key player locally, nationally and internationally.
We are seeking an inspirational academic to join our team and to contribute to the success and growth of the Accounting Programmes and the School as a whole. In particular, the successful candidate will assume the role of Programme Leader for both the Bachelor of Accounting and the BA Business & Finance programmes. This role will form part of the overall job description. Programme Leader experience is necessary and we welcome interest from candidates who can contribute to teaching Financial Management and Financial Accounting. The ideal candidate would also be able to contribute to the research and commercialisation activities of the group.
Candidates should hold an internationally recognised and relevant professional accounting qualification. Those at the final level of such qualifications may also be considered.
The successful candidate will be a proactive colleague who can join the team and immediately play a role in helping to develop the Accounting degrees as well as engaging with programme development and delivery.
A teaching qualification and evidence of research activity would also be advantageous.
Post can be based at any of our campuses in Lanarkshire or Paisley.
