£35,845 - £51,034 per annum

Ref: BB3226-19-529

At Brighton, we embrace individuality and encourage our students and staff to explore their passions and their curiosity.  Brighton Business School advances responsible enterprise that makes a real difference and we are proud that REF 2014 judged our Business and Management research to be the 5th most impactful within the UK.  We have an ambitious strategy to gain AACSB accreditation.

As part of that strategy we seek to appoint Lecturer/Senior Lecturers to contribute to the teaching and research activities in the areas of Law, Economics and Finance.

For all roles, we are looking for candidates with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and an innovative approach to delivering the curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.  Ideally you will have experience of Higher Education but applications from candidates with a recognised qualification and those from a professional/commercial background seeking to move to a career in education would also be welcomed.

For the law appointment we are interested in candidates with experience of, and the ability to teach in the areas of criminal law and land law. Expertise in the areas of criminology and human rights law would also be an advantage.

In all of these roles continuing academic development is expected as a means of keeping up to date with developments in those areas reflecting the changes in the business and law landscape and environment.  We encourage staff who are research active.

Job sharers welcome. Interviews for the Law post will be held on 16 January 2020.
