- Part-time (0.4 FTE), six (6) month fixed term contract
- Salary range: $87,280 - $93,569 pro rata per annum (plus super)
About the Job
An exciting opportunity exists within the Future Industries Institute for a Research Associate to undertake research into new microfluidic sensors and related platforms for robust physical and chemical analysis of mineral processing streams. You will conduct high-quality research in collaboration with industry and contribute to the preparation of refereed journal publications, conference and seminar papers.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have a PhD degree in analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, colloid and interface science, chemical engineering or applied science, and relevant research experience working with microfluidic chips. You will also have a record of peer reviewed publications and conference presentations commensurate with opportunity.
Your ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse research environment, along with your excellent communication and computer literacy skills will ensure your success in the role.
