Senior Lecturer/Executive MBA Programme Coordinator

The Business School is seeking to recruit a Programme Coordinator for the Executive MBA in Shanghai at the Senior Lecturer (Teaching and Scholarship) level. This programme has experienced strong success for the past three years in recruiting students in London. The Shanghai programme will commence in January 2020 and the successful candidate is required to be in post as soon as possible to support this cohort.

The successful candidate will have significant experience and a successful track record of developing, administering and leading taught postgraduate management programmes. This role focuses on the management of quality assurance systems at the course and programme levels along with communication and coordination of course coordinators, bought in academic tutors and administrative staff.

The post holder will undertake an appropriate level of course coordination and delivery, will supervise projects and will travel to Shanghai and potentially London to deliver teaching and facilitate both student recruitment and our business partner relationships.

The successful applicant will have a strong track record in management scholarship and taught postgraduate programme and portfolio development and management.  Aligned to the School’s mission and vision, they will also demonstrate an ability to engage business and other key stakeholders, leading to an active and strong sense of market and, in particular, employer, requirements.

Salary will be at the Senior Lecturer (Teaching and Scholarship) Grade 8 salary scale (40% of £52,599 - £59,135 pro rata, per annum) and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.

The contract is a 0.4 fractional post for an initial period of two years to assess the success of the programme.
