Simulation Centre Assistant
The Chantler Simulation and Interactive Learning Centre is a busy and dynamic education facility for King’s College London at Guy’s Campus. We provide a wide range of high-quality teaching and learning activities to over 5,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students including clinical simulations, communications and bench top model teaching, using state-of-the-art equipment in specially designed wards and teaching rooms.
We are seeking someone to join the team in a dual capacity: providing front-of-house support and also setting up simulated ward areas, clinical classrooms and independent learning facilities. You will provide a welcome, assist staff and students and ensure our rooms are well maintained and stocked. You will set-up technical equipment, provide specialist support and undertake equipment maintenance.
The successful candidate will have relevant technical or clinical skills experience, strong organisational and communication skills, work to tight deadlines and fast turnarounds, and demonstrate ability to work under their own initiative and as part of a team. S/he will understand the importance of good record keeping and care about high standards. The centre is supported from 08:00 to 19:00 and this role will cover early and late shifts.
Interviews shall be held at Guy’s Campus on Friday 13th December.
This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
The selection process will include a panel interview.
