Senior Lecturer/Chair – Business School and PGT Director


The Business School is looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer or Professor (Teaching and Scholarship) in any cognate Business School discipline to support its continued growth and expansion into new PGT subject areas and support current PGT offerings. We welcome applications from outstanding teachers with a strong track record of PGT programme leadership and a passion for enhancing student experience.  Experience in programme development and horizon scanning is also desirable.

We are looking to appoint an established academic and educator who has substantial experience in teaching at all levels in the university, leading PGT programmes and developing portfolios of PGT programmes.  The successful candidate will work with colleagues in the School towards developing a strong international reputation in high quality teaching and outstanding student experience that is aligned with the School’s mission and vision.

In addition to the above, at Professor level we are looking to appoint a candidate with a track record of scholarship publications and or industry experience.

For an appointment at the Senior Lecturer level, salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 8 (£52,559 - £59,135 per annum) salary scale and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.  A highly competitive remuneration package will be available for exceptional candidates considered for appointment at the Professorial level.
