This is an exciting opportunity to join University of the West of Scotland (UWS), one of Higher Education's most innovative modern universities.

We have 4 vibrant campuses across the West of Scotland as well as a campus in Central London.

We are seeking an experienced HR Systems Administrator to maintain and continuously develop our integrated HR and Payroll system (iTrent). You will have a key role in the improvements and configuration needs for iTrent and will also ensure data integrity, system security, configuration of workflow and data analytics.

A significant part of the role will also involve the development, provision and analysis of HR management information using Business Objects software and leading the design and implementation of an on-going suite of reports.

You will provide specialist advice and guidance on all matters relating to the integrated HR and Payroll system, providing support to users across the University. You will also liaise with the software provider as system administrator to ensure that support packages are applied in a timely manner and that all configurations are fully completed and tested.

The successful individual will hold a degree level qualification of have equivalent relevant experience. You will also have extensive knowledge and experience of integrated HR and Payroll system administration duties along with the ability to prioritise workload, set and meet deadlines and have excellent attention to detail.

You will have highly developed IT skills with the ability to use advanced functions within Excel and will also possess excellent customer service skills.

You will be a team player with good communication skills who is innovative and change orientated and has the ability to build relationships within the team and across the University.
