We are looking to recruit an experienced post-doctoral research associate to lead on a secondary data analysis project. The project will explore the interplay between multiple long term health conditions, disease progression, employment status and associated risk factors using existing local population data. Ultimately, the project aims to inform the development of interventions to improve health and well-being, and reduce health inequalities in those affected by long term health conditions.
The post holder must be experienced and proficient at using quantitative statistical methods and programmes (STATA and MPlus) to interrogate and analyse sizeable datasets, possess strong analytical and written communication skills and have experience of writing for publication as evidenced by a good publication record. The project is hosted by OPTIMUM (Occupation and PsychiaTrIc Morbidity ConsortiUM) based at the Denmark Hill campus and will join a multi-disciplinary team. The post holder must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision. There is also the potential to contribute to future grant applications.
This post will be offered on fixed term contract for 15 months.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent
The selection process will include a panel interview, an assessment task and a presentation.
