ALS Clinical Trials Manager
The post holder will coordinate clinical trials in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, also known as motor neuron disease, MND) at King’s College London and King’s College Hospital. This new post is an exciting opportunity to join the Motor Neuron Disease (MND) clinical research team, supporting the investigators to ensure the delivery of high-class clinical research. The post holder will assist in the co-ordination/ management of a portfolio of observational and interventional clinical research studies and trials.
The key responsibilities of this role are to work with the MND clinical research team to enable the Principal Investigators to complete submissions for regulatory approvals, ensure the study team members are compliant with contractual and governance requirements, assist in study setup, ensure that patient recruitment targets are met, that the studies run in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements and to assist in the generation of high quality and accurate study data.
It is essential to have experience of working with clinicians, patients or research participants in a research or professional capacity. Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and of EU regulatory and ethics requirements of clinical trials are required. The successful candidate will work together with the current MND team to facilitate further development of the MND Clinical Studies portfolio.
This post will be offered on an indefinite basis.
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
