As part of its continuing development, the School of Health and Life Sciences is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly organised Administrator to become a key member of the School’s Professional Support Team based at Lanarkshire Campus.
In this busy role as Finance Administrator, you will provide a high level of administrative support to academics and support colleagues, across all campuses of delivery. This will include purchase order processing, procurement card transactions, and processing of student expenses, as well as a number of other transactional support activities.
The successful candidate should be educated to at least HNC/SVQ level 3 or equivalent in Finance/Business Administration or relevant subject with experience of working within a similar office environment.
You will have Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential in order to pass on and receive accurate information to both staff and students. In addition, you will possess excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to plan under your own initiative and work to specific deadlines. A flexible and adaptable approach to work is crucial with the ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and sharing expertise.
This post will be based at the Lanarkshire campus, however all administrators may be required to work at any UWS campus or location from time to time to meet needs of the business.
