Applications are invited for two Research Associate posts in Theoretical Physics in the Department of Mathematics at King’s College London.

The Theoretical Physics group conducts research in supersymmetry, string and related areas.  The permanent members of the group are Dr Dionysios Anninos, Dr Benjamin Doyon, Dr Nadav Drukker, Dr Nikolay Gromov, Professor Christopher Herzog, Professor Neil Lambert, Dr Sameer Murthy, Professor George Papadopoulos, Dr Andreas Recknagel, Dr Gerard Watts and Professor Peter West.

These are fixed-term posts: one for 36 months; the other for 24 months, and are funded by the Science and Technologies Research Council (STFC). Candidates should have the potential to carry out research which has high levels of originality, innovation and depth that may lead to significant impact on their field over the long term, and have expertise related to the areas of supersymmetry and string theory.

The posts are available as of 1 October 2020.

The posts will be offered on a fixed-term contract for three years and two years.

These are full-time posts - 100% full time equivalent.
