The post-holder will work on a project which aims to translate FDOPA PET imaging from experimental medicine into clinical use to predict treatment response in patients with psychosis. Specifically, the post will involve developing an automated web-based analysis framework for data management and analysis of FDOPA PET imaging.
The project will utilise a large existing neuroimaging dataset of FDOPA PET acquired from patients with psychosis and access to linked clinical records to determine whether neuroimaging analysis can provide information about treatment response. It will also be integrated with ongoing data collection. The post-holder will have a background in computer science and will be responsible for implementing the analytical tools and prediction model into a neuroimaging database as well as to design and build the web-based interface to enable access and data-transfer.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a maximum of 24 months.
This is a full-time post – 100% full time equivalent.
