Northumbria University has secured a prestigious US Andrew Mellon Foundation research grant for a two year period. The project will capture new knowledge and build technologies  to promote excellence and foster collaborations around teaching, research and knowledge exchange activities  of the global iSchools community (www.ischools.org). The project is  led by Northumbria University  with three other partners – one each from the US, Europe and China.

We are looking for a Research Fellow to work on this  exciting project to develop a data architecture and applications to link various data objects and build a knowledge graph of the people, subject, research and stakeholders of the global iSchools community. 

In addition to having excellent programming and system design skills, applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills required for working with a global team of researchers. The  applicant is also expected to have a good understanding of the nature and activities of iSchools around the world.
