About the Job

The Research Associate will undertake research as part of the University’s collaborative research project (Multi-Spectral Fusion with Bio-amodal Perception for Robust Target Classification) with the Defence Science and Technology Group. In this position you will design and perform a range of experiments, including appropriate controls, to achieve planned research outcomes and contribute to refereed journal publications and project reports arising from the research.

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will hold a post graduate qualification in artificial intelligence, computer vision, or visual processing and research experience in Defence Science or the discipline of visual pattern recognition and perception. You will have the ability to judge priorities and undertake innovative and productive research in collaboration with other academic researchers.
