An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School of Immunology & Microbial Sciences at King's College London in the laboratory of Dr Annika Warnatsch. Dr Warnatsch investigates the role of neutrophil-mediated reactive oxygen production in antiviral inflammation. Specifically, the project will analyse the regulation of cytokine signalling, immune cell recruitment and organisation through reactive oxygen species localisation during influenza A virus infection.

The successful candidate will work closely with Dr Warnatsch but also design, perform and interpret experimental protocols independently, as well as write up and present results and findings. The postdoc will be expected to hold a PhD in a relevant area with a significant background in innate immunology, inflammation or virus infection.
