Lancaster University wishes to appoint an N8 Knowledge Exchange (KE) AgriFood Fellow who will work within Lancaster University and across the N8 universities, developing sustainable partnerships with key stakeholders of the N8 Agri-Food Resilience Programme to generate positive impacts on the resilience of the Agri-food system.

The N8 is a partnership of eight research–intensive universities in the North of England: Durham, Lancaster, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and York. The N8 AgriFood programme is a multi-disciplinary initiative aiming to transform agri-food research in the UK, by building on the N8’s research strengths in science, engineering and the social sciences to address key global challenges in food security, including sustainable food production, resilient food supply chains, and improved nutrition and consumer behaviours.
