St Mary’s University has a long and distinguished history and a very modern outlook. Since its foundation in 1850 it has fostered the intellectual, physical and spiritual development of its students to assist them to have successful careers and flourishing lives.
We are now looking to appoint hourly paid tutors to assist with the Subject Knowledge Enhancement programme up to GCSE level before students enter Initial Teacher Training Programmes.
As a Tutor, you will work with students to support secondary ITE applicants across pre PGCE programmes, one or more of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Maths, English, Geography, MFL (French, Spanish) or RE modules.
Qualified Teacher Status and experience of secondary teaching past or present are essential requirements for the post.
There are opportunities for both face-to-face and online tutors.
