Job Details

King’s Business School (KBS) is the ninth and newest faculty at King’s College London and it is committed to reimagining the business school curriculum. A full-service school, on a growth trajectory towards 2,500 students and 150 faculty, KBS seeks to provide an exceptional student experience across each programme. Located in the heart of London and drawing on the world-class, multi-disciplinary strengths of King’s, KBS provides an environment where innovation and academic excellence go hand in hand.

The Senior Programme Manager (SPM) is a vital role in the Professional Services team at KBS, leading a large programme team delivering an array of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including two distance learning programmes and a growing Executive Education service. This is an exciting phase of development and expansion for the Business School and the SPM will need to guide and support the team through a period of change. Strong management experience and confident and inspiring leadership are traits which will help the candidate succeed in the role.

King’s Business School has ambitions to become one of the top business schools in the UK. The SPM will play a key role in realising this ambition, contributing to the development and delivery of the KBS education strategy as well as supporting the wider university strategy and vision. The SPM will need to bring a mindset of continuous improvement and an ability to analyse, create and implement processes and systems to deliver an excellent service.

Reporting to the Faculty Education Manager, the SPM will need to establish excellent working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels in the university, including academics and administrative colleagues in the Business School, colleagues in other departments and those in the central teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious, entrepreneurial and high-performing School and help to take it to the next level.

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent

The selection process will include a panel interview and a presentation.
