The role of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer: Strategic Management is primarily focused on the preparation and delivery of teaching activities within the School’s undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs. This position will contribute to the development of curricula and will utilise professional/discipline-related expertise to deliver high-quality teaching.

In addition, the Senior Lecturer position will be expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching and learning outcomes of the School. It will make major contributions to program and course curriculum and drive continuous improvement in teaching practice across the discipline. The Senior Lecturer: Strategic Management has leadership responsibilities for the teaching team and will also support the professional development of colleagues through mentoring and peer review.

Skills and Experience

The level of appointment will depend on qualifications and experience relating to Level B or Level C requirements.

Level B: The successful candidate will hold a PhD or Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline; and/or equivalent professional/industry experience together with demonstrated experience to undertake teaching duties including the design and preparation of teaching activities and resources.

Level C: the successful candidate will hold a doctoral qualification in Strategic Management, or a Masters in a relevant discipline, and/or extensive relevant professional/industry experience. An established record of achievement in teaching using a range of contemporary teaching methodologies is also essential.

This Teaching Academic position will be appointed at Level B (base salary range $98,413 - $116,567) or Level C (base salary $120,197-$138,353) with a generous superannuation contribution of up to 17%.
