Job description
Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Strategic Management to join the Management, Leadership and Tourism group. We would particularly welcome applicants whose area of expertise lies in strategy, strategic management. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative and committed to delivering an excellent student experience.
The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team with considerable expertise and experience in both undergraduate and post graduate course delivery. It will be expected that the person appointed will be familiar with contemporary developments in their discipline and will be able to contribute to a range of courses as well as acting as module leader and dissertation tutor.
You will hold a relevant good honours degree, Masters and a PhD or near completion. You will have experience of teaching strategic management in a HE environment and experience off developing high quality learning and teaching materials. You will be willing to adapt to a changing work environment and have a flexible approach to working hours.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be committed to the success of students and demonstrate effective learning, teaching and assessment skills. Good interpersonal skills as well as an ability to work independently and collaboratively are core requirements for this post.
