011905 – Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Psychology, UCD School of Psychology (Temporary, estimated duration, 4 years)

Applications are invited for a Temporary (Estimated duration, 4 years) post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Psychology within UCD School of Psychology.

Applicants must have a PhD or Doctorate in psychology, and teaching and research experience relevant to the School's current areas of activity. Applicants with expertise in child & developmental psychology, psychology of language and cognition/perception are particularly welcome to apply.

Successful applicants will contribute to the school's undergraduate/conversion (BSc, Higher Diploma in Psychology) and postgraduate (Psychological Science, Mindfulness, Disability, Clinical Psychology) programmes, as well as to research activity within the School's current thematic research areas:

  • Clinical psychology
  • Cognitive and behavioural neuroscience
  • Disability and rehabilitation
  • Social and developmental psychology

UCD is a dynamic research-intensive university that is at the forefront of research and teaching activities across a wide range of disciplines. The School of Psychology has extensive interdisciplinary research links to a number of university teaching hospitals, (many of which are located close to the UCD campus) and to the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience and has excellent facilities for experimental and clinical research. We encourage applicants to familiarise themselves with the School's areas of activity and identify how their own areas of research and teaching will complement or align with these in their application.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar Salary Scale: €53,773 - €84,544 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
